Archant

A car with cardboard number plates front and back has been seized by police.

Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing officers spotted the unusual looking plates while on the A1(M) in Hatfield this afternoon.

On closer inspection it was found that both front and rear plates were made from cardboard.

BCH Road Policing tweeted: “Turns out it’s also not insured so it’s been seized.

“Driver faces 6 points and £300 fine.”
