A MAN killed in a multiple car crash on the A1(M) last week has been named.
Tony Radford died in the five car pile-up on Tuesday between junctions five, at WGC, and four, for the Oldings Roundabout.
The 42-year-old from Stevenage was travelling in a silver Smart car southbound on the motorway at 8.30am.
After being airlifted to the Royal London Hospital with serious head injuries Mr Radford died on Wednesday morning.
The carriageway was closed for five hours following the crash while the vehicles were removed and investigations carried out.
No one else was injured.
