A FORMER opera singer has reached the final of a national female business award.

Susan Heaton Wright, who runs NSN Productions and Executive Voice, was nominated for the Prowess Business Mentor Awards by clients she has helped.

The Hatfield woman, who organises music for events and also helps business people project their voice in meetings, said: "I was very proud to have been nominated for this award by my musicians. The success of my company comes from providing excellent customer care to clients and to developing the musicians to reach their full potential.

"A number of my musicians have won awards for outstanding customer care. I am so pleased they value the advice I give them."

A Women's Enterprise Ambassador for the East of England, the 41-year-old mother of one, who has run NSN for about two-and-a-half years, told the WHT: "To win the award would actually be amazing; I would be on cloud nine.

"It would be quite an accolade to my name and business as well, but for now I'm just looking forward to the night, it should be great and there will be many interesting people there."
