A COUPLE made up of a doctor and a dentist is bound to create a dynamic partnership.

Well, a Welwyn-based dentist has given his ambitious wife, who is a doctor, the keys to his surgery to help her start up a facial aesthetics company.

Welwyn Wellbeing, on the village's High Street, is the brainchild of Dr Tashi Osman and aims to give the people of Times Territory an opportunity to enhance their facial looks.

Using Botox treatment and dermal fillers, the 41-year-old GP from North London, hopes to provide a "reliable and effective" service in the village.

The mother-of-two said: "I hope to accompany my husband's dentistry practice which is cosmetic in regards to teeth whitening, so we will complement each other.

"I want it to become a one-stop shop.

"I will use a room in the surgery to carry out treatments, when he is not busy.

"It is usually women over 40 who feel the need for this kind of treatment, but I want to attract a wider audience; men are welcome, too."

Welwyn Wellbeing will be open on Wednesday afternoons - but Dr Osman says she can arrange for people to come and see her in the evening or at other times, if necessary.

Dr Osman believes her medical qualifications should work in her favour.

She said: "I I hope the fact that I am a doctor will stand me in good stead.

"It is a business that can be quite unregulated and doctor status can only help."
