999 crews rush to home after woman collapses

EMERGENCY services were called out this morning to help an elderly woman who had collapsed in her home.

Ambulance and fire crews were called to The Paddocks, in Welwyn Garden City, just before 5am this morning.

The woman had collapsed behind a door and the fire service helped the ambulance crew to resuscitate her.

She was taken to Lister Hospital, in Stevenage.
