£3,000 reward offered in Welwyn Garden City rape case

A reward of £3,000 has been offered by Crimestoppers for information which leads to the arrest and conviction of a rapist.

Ethnic appearance: White European
Additional information: The rapist is described as a white man, with an English accent, with short dark hair and of slim build. He had stubble, his breath smelt strongly and he also smelt strongly of sweat. He was wearing a white gym top with dark lines under the arms and black jeans.
The attack happened between 9.30pm on Monday July 29 and 12.20am on Tuesday July 30 last year in Cole Green Lane, Welwyn Garden City.
The attacker was described as having strong smelling breath and he stank of sweat.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was walking from the direction of Hollybush Lane when she was grabbed from behind by a man and attacked.
Crimestoppers is offering this reward of up to £3,000 for information passed on directly to the charity anonymously on 0800 555 111 that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the rape.
Information given directly to the police or via the Crimestoppers online form will not be liable for the reward.
The offender is described as a white man, with an English accent, with short dark hair and of slim build. He had stubble, his breath smelt strongly and he also smelt strongly of sweat. He was wearing a white gym top with dark lines under the arms and black jeans. A dark coloured five door vehicle was seen in the area around the time of the offence and Police have yet to trace this vehicle.
