A serving Hertfordshire police officer faces a misconduct hearing later this week after allegedly making sexist, homophobic and racist comments.

The hearing into PC Robbi Evans’ alleged behaviour will take place on Wednesday (October 28) and Thursday this week, with the misconduct panel set to consider whether the officer’s actions amounted to gross misconduct.

The hearing notice alleges that PC Evans “demonstrated misogynistic behaviour in the workplace by making sexist and demeaning comments towards and/or about female officers” between February and August 2025 and that, in September 2025, the officer made “racist comments” and “a homophobic comment about another officer” at a work social event.

It adds that PC Evans reportedly attended the home address of a female police officer on November 28, 2024, “without her consent and without any legitimate policing purpose, causing her concern and anxiety” and that, in May 2025, he visited the home of another female police officer without her consent.

PC Evans is accused of breaching standards of professional behaviour relating to authority, respect and courtesy; equality and diversity; and discreditable conduct.

The panel will consider, on the balance of probabilities, whether PC Evans’ alleged actions amount to gross misconduct.
