On this day in 2025, the Harvester restaurant in Potters Bar reopened its doors to the public following a lengthy renovation.

Located in Oakmere House, a Grade II-listed building on Potters Bar High Street, the restaurant had closed for works on July 20, 2025.

At the time, councillor Renos Georgiou, one of Hertsmere council's two representatives for the Oakmere ward and cabinet member for resources, IT and digital transformation, reopened the restaurant.

Since 1983, Harvester has been celebrated for its "famous grills, rotisserie chicken and unbeatable, unlimited salad bar".
