At long last a new series of Taskmaster is returning to Channel 4 with five new comedians and celebrities.

The all-star line-up will once again be trying to impress hosts Greg Davies and Little Alex Horne in the most humorous ways.

Rosie Ramsey and Stevie Martin are among those attempting to complete the bizarre tasks in the hope of earning the most points.

With the last instalment, which ended in November 2024, series 19 has finally arrived, following the cast announcement earlier this year.

Taskmaster will air on Channel 4 tonight (May 1) from 9pm.

In series 18, Andy Zaltzman claimed the winning title, beating Rosie Jones, Emma Sidi, Babatunde Aléshé and Jack Dee, but who has what it takes to take over the comedy crown?

Let’s take a look at the line-up of famous faces.

Who is in Taskmaster series 19?

  • Comedian and writer Fatiha El-Ghorri (Live at the Apollo, BBC),
  • American comedian, actor and podcaster Jason Mantzoukas (Big Mouth, Netflix)
  • Actor and writer Mathew Baynton (Ghosts, BBC One)
  • Podcaster and broadcaster Rosie Ramsey (Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed)
  • Comedian, actor and podcaster Stevie Martin (Starstruck, BBC/HBO Max)

Channel 4 adds: “All of them will approach the series with hope in their hearts, while one will dance away pretending to be humble in the face of their truly incredible victory.

“Little Alex Horne has polished and preened another version of Taskmaster Greg Davies’s regal head cast in pure gold in readiness for a brand-new series, while Greg Davies is, as usual, at the centre of it all, administering points and astute feedback as he welcomes five new comics into his world of misrule.”

Back in 2023, the comedy game panel show was renewed for an additional six series, so there is still more to come, according to Radio Times.

Greg previously said at the time: "I am also delighted that Alex and I return to test the intelligence of comedians in the most scientific of ways.

“I'll be pretty angry. It's not even an act anymore."

Watch or stream the new series of Taskmaster on Channel 4 from Thursday, May 1, 9pm.
