Director Callum Oakaby Wright told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: "Me and my team are committed to making more film projects in and around Hatfield and we hope that one of these will indeed be the sequel to the Hatfield documentary as it seems a lot of people would like this to happen!

"An issue we are facing however is that the scale that we'd like to achieve for the sequel would require some funding which we are currently in the process of chasing."

In the original documentary, the star Judd Otene,  takes the documentary crew on a journey through Hatfield, recounting its historical significance, including The Eight Bells pub inspiring Charles Dickens to write Oliver Twist, Queen Elizabeth I's association with Hatfield House and the de Havilland Aircraft Company.
