A baby and a woman were taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to a crash in Welwyn Garden City yesterday morning (October 17).
At 8.40am, the East of England Ambulance Service, Herts police and Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service were all called to the scene of a collision involving a blue Hyundai and a white Audi in Wheatley Road.
The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, an ambulance, rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer vehicle were all in attendance.
A baby and a woman were taken to Lister Hospital for assessment and treatments.
"We were called at 8.40am to a road traffic accident on Wheatley Road in Welwyn Garden City," an East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
"An ambulance, rapid response vehicle, ambulance officer vehicle and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene.
"An adult woman and baby were transported by road to the Lister Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
