Changes are set to be made to a Hatfield retail unit ahead of M&S moving in next year, with a planning application submitted.
Marks & Spencer are investing £3 million into Unit 1A at Oldings Corner Retail Park, with the food hall expected to open early next year.
There is plenty of excitement about the store's arrival, with shoppers able to enjoy an in-store bakery, serving a selection of bread, pastries and takeaway coffee, dedicated flower and wine shops, cheese and charcuterie barge and a range of fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from M&S’ Select Farmers.
A planning application has revealed further changes to the unit, including the first images of the store front, which is set to include a large illuminated M&S Food sign.
A canopy at the front of the store is also set to be built, while doors and windows will be moved too.
The application also states that trolley bays and double doors to a plant room will be installed, while further internal alterations will take place.
Unit 1A has stood empty since earlier this year, when fashion retailer Next vacated the site.
