A case concerning five knifepoint robberies that took place in Hatfield during a 24-hour period has been dropped, police have confirmed.
Joshua Cinense, aged 21, of Ladbroke Grove in London, had been charged with three counts of handling stolen goods in connection with the robberies.
He had been set to appear for trial, but Herts police announced today (July 5) that no further action will be taken.
Randey Runzilike, aged 20, of Macarthur Close in Erith, is currently serving an eight-year prison sentence for four counts of robbery, one attempted robbery, four counts of possession of a bladed article, and assault. Runzilike had targeted lone females.
A 16-year-old boy from Hatfield, who was arrested on suspicion of three counts of robbery, was released with no further action.
