Music festival Slam Dunk returns to Hatfield this weekend.

The South leg of the annual pop-punk, ska punk, emo, hardcore, metalcore and alt-rock festival will take place in Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 25.

Following the 2024 festival's Hertfordshire date, Slam Dunk North will take place in Leeds' Temple Newsam the following day — Sunday, May 26.

You Me At Six will headline the Slam Dunk Stage at both venues in their final UK festival performances.

Having already held their own outdoor concert in Hatfield Park in 2022 to celebrate 10 years of their Sinners Never Sleep album, and headlining Slam Dunk in Hatfield in 2015 when the festival was still staged at the University of Hertfordshire, it will be an emotional farewell for the band.

You Me At Six said earlier this year: “We couldn’t think of a better place to perform our last festival appearance than the festival that first ever booked us.

"It’s going to be a full circle moment with raw and charged up emotion in abundance. We can’t wait.”

You Me At Six are due on stage at 8.50pm on the main Slam Dunk Stage.

As well as You Me At Six's final ever UK festival appearance, this year’s Slam Dunk line-up includes I Prevail, Waterparks, the reunited Mallory Knox, State Champs, The All-American Rejects, The Interrupters, The Wonder Years, Funeral for a Friend and many more across multiple stages.

These exclusive Mallory Knox shows will be original vocalist Mikey Chapman’s first live performances with the band since leaving in 2018.
