A missing teenager from Welwyn Garden City has been found following a police appeal.

Prior to her disappearance, Kayleigh had last been seen near Hatfield train station at 5.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, May 14).

It was believed that the 14-year-old may have travelled to Bow in East London.

At the time, a spokesperson for Herts police said: "If you have information on Kayleigh’s whereabouts or have seen her since she went missing, please call the non-emergency number 101.

"For immediate sightings, call 999 straight away."

However, Hertfordshire Constabulary confirmed this afternoon: "We’re pleased to let you know that Kayleigh has been found."
