Drivers are being warned as a 70-mile diversion remains in place while works to repair a stretch of the A12 is ongoing.
Part of the A12 between Blythburgh and Darsham, near Southwold was closed from Monday, April 22 to Saturday, April 27 while prep and surface dressing took place.
Phase two of repairs is expected to take place between Sunday and Wednesday.
The works will take place overnight between 8pm and 5am.
The official diversion route is 70 miles long.
The diversion route is so long as it takes drivers along A roads.
This is because some vehicles like HGVs cannot go down smaller roads that others would use as shortcuts.
According to the Suffolk County Council website, the road will be closed once again between May 13 and May 17 for phase three of the repairs.
The diversion route will take drivers along the A1120, A140, A143, A145, A12 and vice versa.
