An uninsured driver attempted to dupe police near Welwyn by "pretending to be his brother", despite not looking anything like him.
In a post on X, the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit confirmed they stopped the driver of a red Toyota Aygo on the A1(M).
When he was questioned by officers, he claimed to be his brother, but police saw right through the lies as unfortunately for him, he looked nothing like him.

This driver tried to pretend to be his brother - who rather awkwardly he doesn’t look like one bit…
After seeing through the lies it was established he has no insurance.
