Police have launched an appeal after an “altercation involving a group of youths” in Welwyn Garden City.

The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 2pm on Saturday, March 30, in Bushey Ley Park. It is reported that there was an altercation between a group of youths.

"Our enquiries are continuing, and I am appealing for anyone with information to please come forward," Detective Constable Sash Gentle said:

"No one was hurt during the incident, but it is understood that one of the youths was approached by several members of the public following the altercation to talk about his behaviour, we are keen to speak to these members of the public.
