Cooperscroft Care Home in Potters Bar has collected more than 107 Easter eggs to help families in need.

The care home called on residents and businesses around Potters Bar to donate the eggs, which they delivered to the foodbank at 12 Apostles Church in Hatfield.

The eggs will go to families who may not otherwise be able to celebrate Easter.

Dawn Cawley, business and development manager at the home, said: "Easter is a time of fun, celebration, and joy, and we believe every person deserves to experience the magic of the season, regardless of their circumstances."

Cooperscroft Care Home is run by TLC Care, and the Easter collection was part of the home's commitment to 'make a positive impact beyond their immediate surroundings'.
