A spokesperson for the the charity said: "Beau is one of many canine volunteers.

"His main responsibilities include canine communications, pet project management and human relationship building.

"In his spare time, he loves to eat carrots and enjoys making new friends.

"While Beau is a very friendly boy, he is not allowed to driver the Shopper Bus because his paws cannot reach the pedals.

"So, we are searching for volunteer drivers for our multi-purpose vehicles and minibuses on scheduled trips, as well as cars for community-based transport, and for volunteer bus buddies who help passengers board and disembark from the buses, carry shopping and fetch items in the supermarkets."
