A stolen moped has been recovered after a "helpful member of the public" spotted the vehicle.
On Saturday (March 16), Hertfordshire police recovered a moped from Howe Dell Woods, in Hatfield.
The vehicle had been stolen from Honeysuckle Gardens the previous night (Friday, March 15).
After forensics were carried out, the moped has been reunited with its rightful owner.
An investigation is currently underway.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "We are pleased that the victim has his moped back.
"This sort of crime has a devastating impact on people’s lives – in this case, the victim’s vehicle was part of his livelihood.
