Sea Cadets from the borough had the chance to quiz Welwyn Hatfield police officers during a recent visit.

Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing Team officers paid a visit to the Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield Sea Cadets on Thursday, March 7.

PCSOs Stacey Robinson and Lucy Manning, along with PCs Cameron Abraham and Ryan Irving, met with the cadets for a Q&A session.

The cadets were able to ask their local police about their jobs and how they help to keep the public safe.

The group were also shown around the officers’ police vehicle and they got to see and learn about the various bits of equipment carried inside.

PCSO Robinson said: “As neighbourhood policing officers, it’s important for us to get out and meet local residents and remind them that we are here to help.

"We had a brilliant time with the Sea Cadets who made us feel very welcome."
