Photographers from a Potters Bar society will be exhibiting their best work in Hatfield later this week.

Potters Bar & District Photographic Society's annual exhibition — the Society's largest single show of the year — will be held at The Galleria shopping centre in Hatfield.

Members’ photographs will be on display from Saturday, March 23 to Sunday, April 7.

This is the photographic society’s 74th annual exhibition. It will contain about 100 prints on a range of subjects including portraits, landscapes and travel images.

Visitors to The Galleria will be asked to vote for their favourite picture in the exhibition. The Society’s member with the most votes will receive a trophy.

The Society is keen to encourage new members, so if you are interested in photography, let them know through Facebook, their website pottersbarphotosoc.org.uk or on the voting slips at the exhibition.

A Galleria spokesperson said: “The Galleria is delighted to welcome back our friends from the Potters Bar Photography Society and we look forward to our guests enjoying the exhibition of prints again this year."

The Society’s new President, Helen Frost, added that “as always, we are very grateful to The Galleria for allowing us to hold our largest exhibition at their centre”.

Last year’s winning picture after the public vote was Room With A View by Helen Frost.

Club meetings are held on most Monday evenings at the Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar.
