Guests gathered at the Quaker Meeting House in Welwyn Garden City recently to mark the second anniversary of the war in Ukraine.
The event, which aimed to foster connections and encourage social interaction, primarily focused on the volunteers from Herts who have supported Ukraine since the Russian invasion.
Elena Protic, who led the event, said: "I believe that it positively impacted the mental well-being of Ukrainian refugees as well.

"By learning more about the dedicated volunteers of Hertfordshire and their unwavering efforts to support Ukraine, attendees gained valuable insights.
"I would also like to thank our local authorities especially county Cllr Fiona Thomson for contributing £200 towards the event from her Locality Budget Scheme.
"Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported us."
