Welwyn's Andrea Boughton has been crowned one of the UK's most impressive female entrepreneurs.

The Beehive Green founder received the honour from Small Business Britain’s 'f:Entrepreneur’ campaign, and is one of 100 named from across the country in the organisation's 'iAlso100' line-up.

Andrea, who founded the Beehive Green brand and design studio in 2014, was praised for her studio’s focus on sustainability, accessibility and community.

Her work with charities and SME’s, as well as her voluntary mentoring work, was also highlighted.

Andrea said: “It’s a real privilege to be part of such an inspiring community – I’m delighted with the recognition.

"This acknowledgment holds special significance for me as this year I’m also celebrating 10 years of being self-employed and Beehive Green brand and design studio.”
