With half term right around the corner, there's plenty of activities for the children to enjoy in Welwyn Hatfield.
There are a whole host of activities for children and young people this coming February half term in Welwyn Hatfield.
The Hive
The Hive in South Hatfield - home to the fantastic Freddie’s Den - has two-hour activity and craft sessions running on February 20, 21 and 22 from 10am to 12noon.
During the first hour there will be a range of sports on offer - children can choose from football, basketball, team relays, dodgeball, cricket - followed by arts and crafts in the second hour.
It’s £5 per session (sessions are aimed at 6–12-year-olds).

Campus West
There’s a range of different entertainment on offer at Campus West, including the latest releases, with the much-anticipated family film 'Migration’ showing. Alternatively, the kids can get fully immersed in the oink-tastic Live On Stage presentation of ‘The Three Little Pigs’! Older children and teenagers can get their fix of fun too, with the holiday skates at RollerCity.

Mill Green Watermill and Museum Hooray
Mill Green reopens on Tuesday, February 20, in time for half term!
Get the children into some green-fingered fun by inspiring them through paper flower workshops (February 21 and 22) and garden bug making (February 22 and 23).
Children can make paper flowers to grow their community garden art piece with a range inspired by Victorian secret flower language!
The range of flowers can be made by children of three years and above - the perfect half-term activity.

Your Local Better Leisure Centre
The council’s leisure partner, GLL (branded as ’Better’) has a host of half term holiday activities for juniors at their centres, including soft play, trampolining, fun family swim sessions.
