1. Howard Centre unit changes for new gym

A planning application has been submitted to replace existing door and louvre at Units 28 and 29 at The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City, ahead of a new gym moving in.

The Gym Group is set to take over Unit 29, formerly home to Next, and although no official opening date has been revealed their website stating the site is "coming soon".

2. 73 homes in Cuffley

A planning application for a major development of 73 homes in The Meadway in Cuffley has been submitted.

The plans also include access, landscaping, private and communal amenity space, vehicle parking, cycle, refuse and recycling storage, public open space and other associated supporting infrastructure.

3. Hatfield premises licence application

Notice is given that Michael James Page has applied to the licensing for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to grant an application for a premises licence for 12 Bury Road in Hatfield.

The application proposes the sale and distribution of alcohol Monday to Thursday from 5pm to 9pm, from 5pm to 11pm on Friday, 12pm to 11pm on Saturday and 12pm to 6pm on Sunday.

4. Welwyn premises licence application

Notice is given that Altin Rexho has applied to the licensing for Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to grant an application for a premises licence for 1 Church Street in Welwyn.

The application proposes the sale or supply of alcohol, and to extend the licensable areas for retail sale of alcohol, to include the garden and forecourt between the hours of 10am and 9.30pm daily.
