A careers fair in Hatfield returned for its second year to help school pupils interact with nearby businesses.
The Generation Welwyn Hatfield Careers Fair, held on on February 9, gave Year 11 pupils in the area a chance to network with more than 50 local businesses at the Fielder Centre.
Students learnt about various jobs and routes to employment with brand-name organisations, including Barclays Bank, Lovells, the NHS, Royal Air Force, and Herts Fire and Rescue.
The fair, which was also open to the public in the afternoon, was organised by the Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council and the Hertfordshire LEP, supported by the UK Government.
Councillor Duncan Jones, executive member resources and portfolio holder for business and economics, said: "We believe that investing in the skills and talents of our young people is essential for the future success of our local economy and society.
"Thank you to all the employers who generously participated."
