The Welwyn Hatfield Neighbourhood Policing team has recently held a series of "crime prevention stalls" across the borough.

The team held stalls at The Galleria in Hatfield, and John Lewis and The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City over a one-week period.

Residents were able to address concerns and receive advice from the team.

Complementary crime prevention tools such as purse bells and card defenders were also offered.

Inspector Amy Sheldon, from the NPT, said: "Crime prevention stalls give the public an opportunity to meet their local police face-to-face and pick up tips to stay safe.

"The events also help us to understand more about what you want to see from your local police.

"I would like to say thank you to everybody who took the time to stop by.

"We enjoyed meeting with you and hopefully you found the stalls useful."
