An entrepreneur is inviting businesswomen to attend a supportive event in a kitchen environment.

Hertfordshire businesswoman, Toma Navickiene, aims to aid the community by developing her new, no-cost, women in business initiative.

Navickiene, owner of Kutchenhaus German kitchen showrooms in Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City, is providing her businesses as spaces for these supportive events, set to occur every three months.

She said: "People are relaxed when they’re in a kitchen chatting.

"It helps to remove nervousness as it’s a familiar environment, which is much more informal than a board room, for example.

"It feels very homely, and this is one of the reasons why I think it works so well."

Navickiene organised her inaugural business function at the Potters Bar showroom in December 2023, prompting additional events planned for the upcoming months.

The subsequent gathering is due at the end of March 2024 at the Welwyn Garden City showroom.
