Hollywood may have its stars, but so does Southridge RSPCA and with our celebrity names - Billy-An Murphy, Greta Goatwig and Margoat Robbie - and our glamorous looks, it is obvious we are "the ones"!
We came to Southridge RSPCA in September last year and are seeking a home together on a registered small holding with plenty of things to explore as we are curious and busy characters.
Billy-An speaking - I am a very handsome Tuggenberg Hybrid with a cheeky, mischievous personality. I am full of fun and one of my favourite games is to try to knock the wheelbarrow over when my carer comes to do the house work - forget the cleaning, come and play!
Us girls, Margoat and Greta are Saanen goats. We are kindly, gentle and sweet natured, if a little shy. We are particularly partial to our yummy treats, especially hazel and hawthorne and will happily take this from a kind hand.
While it has taken us time, particularly the girls, we have now settled well at Southridge. Although we so want our forever home, we know that moving again will feel very overwhelming at first and we will require gentle, patient and understanding people who will give us time to adapt to our new surroundings. Essential to this will be positive interactions with our new human family through hand feeding us tasty treats.
In addition to an interesting environment, we need a secure paddock with a purpose built shelter containing nice bedding to shield us from the elements and where we can have a comfy nap. We require regular pedicures (feet trimming), vaccinations and (how embarrassing for us stars to admit) worming too.
Being socialites who have lived with other goats in the past, so are happy to consider joining a small existing goaty group.
