A tree has been planted in Welwyn Garden City to honour a former councillor who passed away earlier this year.
Siobhan Hill Elam lost her battle with cancer in April, with tributes flooding in for the long-serving Liberal Democrat Handside ward councillor, ex-Herts police sergeant and Barn Theatre member.

A Ginkgo Biloba - the oldest known tree species in the world - was planted alongside a plaque on a plot of land on Handside Lane, opposite the theatre where she spent many happy hours directing and acting.
Tributes were paid by her son Aiden, daughter-in-law Sally, and fellow former councillor Malcolm Cowan.
"This will be a permanent reminder of Siobhan, who lives on in our hearts," said Sally.
