A SELF-ASSEMBLY five-a-side football court worth £23,000 has been stolen.

The court – one of only two in the country – was taken from a locked trailer at Hatfield Cricket Club, in Ascots Lane, WGC, between 9am on Wednesday, November 23 and 9am on Friday.

“The unique football court is used for community events across the county and is very rare as there are only two in the country,” said Insp Laura Randall.

“The offender(s) must have known what was inside the trailer and would have needed a vehicle to move the football table. We would like to reunite the owner with the table so he can continue to use it in the community.”

Call police with information on the non-emergency number 101.
