Police staff and officers at Hatfield station recently came together to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The Central Intelligence Bureau’s social committee and the team recently ran a Macmillan coffee morning last month.
The team baked or brought in cakes to sell at Hatfield Police Station and a total of £263.25 was raised.
Sarah, from the Central Intelligence Bureau, said: “The social committee team are all about bringing people together, uplifting one another, and making a difference. That's why we felt it would be a great idea to host a Macmillan coffee morning at Hatfield Police Station.
“Macmillan Cancer Support is a charity close to my heart, and it was clear on the day how much it means to lots of other officers and staff members too.
"The event turned out to be a huge success and we raised a grand total of £263.25! This has been an amazing achievement and we are very proud of this.
“On behalf of the committee, I'd like to thank everyone for their kind donations. This wouldn't have been possible without you all.
“Moving forward, we hope to host these coffee mornings annually. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next one!”
