Santa's Sleigh is returning to Welwyn Garden City this Christmas to bring plenty of festive cheer to the town.

Organised by The Rotary Club, last year saw the sleigh raise almost £4,000 for charity, and they are aiming for more in 2023, with donations going to Resolve, SPACE, Turning Point, and Digswell Place Riding for the Disabled.

"Santa has been in touch and he is really looking forward to visiting Welwyn Garden City again," said a Rotary Club spokesperson.

"If you would like to catch Santa out and about in his sleigh in Welwyn Garden City this year there are five routes around different areas of the town where he will be waving, and spreading his Christmas cheer.

"He will be moving on some portions of routes and making scheduled stopes at others."

Santa's Sleigh will be visiting the follow locations:

  • Knightsfield and Harwood Hill on Friday, December 1
  • Morrisons on Saturday, December 2
  • Handside on Tuesday, December 5
  • Peartree and Woodhall on Friday, December 8
  • Waitrose on Saturday, December 9
  • Haldens and Panshanger on Wednesday, December 13
  • Beehive, Howlands and Panshanger on Friday, December 15
