Hi readers. My name is Nina and I would like to tell you about myself and my situation in the hope that you will fall in love with me and offer me the home I am so longing for.

I came to Southridge RSPCA a year ago after being rescued by an RSPCA inspector.

Although everyone here is kind, I find life in kennels difficult and am desperate for a new family and home of my own.

Welwyn Hatfield Times: Nina seeks forever home

I am quite a big, strong five year old girl, so ideally I would require an adult only family with experience of larger breeds, who like me enjoy an active lifestyle.

My hobbies include walking, playing football and running, but I also love nothing more than cuddles, gentle pats and strokes.

I have had training, so understand good manners. My accomplishments include walking politely on lead and I sit, stay and shake paws and am fond of treats.

Occasionally however I get overexcited and forget how strong I am so am definitely open to further training. I put this down to kennel life getting on top of me.

I am choosy about the dogs I like and am definitely not a fan of cats, so must be the only furry family member. I need a spacious garden with 6ft fencing to play in.

Could you be the kind, understanding person or family who could welcome me into your home as your new best friend? I hope so and look forward to meeting you soon.
