Welwyn Garden City residents flocked to watch the town's Christmas lights switch-on last Saturday.
Crowds packed Howardsgate as the lights were turned on by Santa, with plenty more fun to be had, including live entertainment from Stagecall, DH Dance Academy, Wexli Dance Academy, Conor Walker, Somewhere 2 Sing and, of course, Britain's Got Talent semi-finalist Immi Davis.
The Howard Centre was a hive of activity with dance performances from LCDA, singing elves, face painting and story times with Santa, and the fun didn’t stop there, with rides and attractions on Fretherne Road and Stonehills proving to be a hit with the crowds.
"The town centre was buzzing with Christmas spirit," said a spokesman for Welwyn Garden City BID, who funded the switch-on.
