A motorist has been injured in Potters Bar after he was punched through an open car window.

The incident occurred at around 2.10pm on Wednesday, October 4, in High Street, when an altercation took place between two men.

It is reported that one of them was punched in the face through an open car window, sustaining "GBH-level injuries".

The offender then fled the scene on foot.

"I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to please report information to police," said PC Laura McLaughlin, investigating.

"If you were driving in the area at the time and have dashcam footage that may support our investigation, please contact me.

"I would also like to ask any local residents to check any CCTV or doorbell camera footage they may have to see if it has captured anything."
