Get your broomsticks, hats, and magic wands ready and head to Knebworth Gardens next month for a Halloween Adventure.

The Knebworth Gardens Halloween Adventure will see visitors taking part in several fun Halloween activities throughout the Hertfordshire stately home's gardens on October 24, October 25 and October 26.

This Halloween event will be suitable for little monsters aged three to 10 years old and will not be too spooky or frightening.

Here's a taste of what's on for youngsters, with even more activities this year.

Halloween Games

This Halloween Adventure will have young participants enjoying exciting Halloween Games such as ‘Hungry Ghosts’, ‘Hook a Pumpkin’ and ‘What’s in the Box’ which will earn them stamps on their ‘Pumpkin Passport’.

Once full the ‘Pumpkin Passport’ can be redeemed for a prize.

Halloween Trail

Follow the path through the Wilderness Gardens to find all the wooden Halloween sculptures and characters along the way.

Mini Broomstick Workshop

The Mini Broomstick Workshop is an interactive experience where visitors can create their very own magical Mini Broomstick with the help of the Knebworth Gardens Wizard!

Tickets for this are an additional £2 and can be added to your order once you have bought a child ticket.

The workshop will last around 15 to 20 minutes. Numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Suitable for children aged five to 10 years old, one adult per booking may accompany a child into the workshop and does not need to purchase a workshop ticket.

Halloween Crazy Golf

New for 2023, this Halloween organisers have introduced a spooky Crazy Golf activity for visitors to enjoy.

Decorated Pumpkin Competition

Visitors are encouraged to bring a decorated pumpkin and place it in the ‘Pumpkin Parking’ patch.

A judge will award a prize to the visitor with the best decorated pumpkin at the end of each session.

There will be two age categories, under 6 and six and over. Whilst organisers appreciate parental help, the judges prefer to see pumpkins decorated by children themselves.

Upgrade your experience and pre-book a Children’s Halloween Lunch Box from the Garden Terrace Tea Room at £5.50, which includes a sandwich, Halloween biscuit, drink, fruit, Pom Bears and Halloween colouring in.

The Garden Terrace Tea Room will be open and offering some fantastic Halloween sweet treats as well as a delicious selection of fresh autumnal soups and sandwiches.

As always, fancy dress for all ages is encouraged at this event.

Tickets to the Halloween Adventure includes access to Knebworth Gardens and Dinosaur Trail.

The Adventure Playground, Park and House will be closed.

Tickets for a child are priced at £9.50 and £3.95 for adults, and can be purchased online at www.knebworthhouse.com.
