Latest court results from Hertfordshire and surrounding areas: The following cases were heard at Stevenage, St Albans and Hatfield Magistrates' Courts.
Stevenage Magistrates Court – June 15
Sebastian Cussens: 41, of Halstead Hill, Goffs Oak. On December 19 failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Toyota who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £660 plus ordered to pay victim services £264 and court costs £110. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving license for 6 months.
Andrew Sylva: 45, of Clifton Way, Borehamwood. On September 20 drove a Citroen C4 on A10 Great Cambridge Road, Wormley at 97mph when the speed limit is 70mph. On September 22 drove a Citroen C4 on A10 Great Cambridge Road at 87mph when the speed limit is 70mph.On September 25 drove a Citroen C4 on A10 Great Cambridge Road, Wormley at 109mph when the speed limit is 70mph. On September 26 drove a Citroen C4 on A10 Great Cambridge Road, Wormley at 98mph when the speed limit is 70mph. Fined £320 plus ordered to pay victim services £128 and court costs £110. Disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.
Hatfield Magistrates Court – June 16
Matthew Turner: 43, of Sele Road, Hertford. Failed to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following release from a period of imprisonment in that he failed to attend planned office appointments. Committed to prison for 7 days.
Stevenage Magistrates Court – June 21
Alan Shepherd: 37, of Regent Street, Stotfold. Between October 14 and October 18 harassed a woman in Hitchin. Fined £400 plus ordered to pay victim services £160 and court costs £85. Restraining order made.
Jason Berrisford: 36, of Soothhouse Spring, St Albans. Between May 10 and June 6, 2022 failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Land Rover Discovery who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fined £660 plus ordered to pay victim services £264 and court costs £400.
