The long-awaited Potters Bar Carnival is finally here and set to provide something for everyone. 

The carnival is set to take place on Sunday, June 11 from noon to 5pm at the Elm Court Youth & Community Centre.

The showgrounds will open at midday, with the procession starting from Mount Grace Road at 1pm.

The event will host 60 stalls, barbecues, a beer tent and more.

Both Hertfordshire Showband and the Junior Hertfordshire Showband will be performing at their home town carnival.

A spokesperson for the carnival said: "Remember to add the carnival day to your calendars so you can enjoy your day with the whole town."

Tickets will cost £3 for over 16s.
