The windows of a Welwyn Garden City scout hut have been smashed four times over the past three weeks, with police appealing to the public for help.

Windows at the scout hut in Templewood have been smashed on four separate occasions, causing "upset" and "frustration", according to PC Lee Rowson, from the local Safer Neighbourhood Team.

"Understandably, this behaviour is causing a lot of upset, frustration and financial loss, and it will not be tolerated," he said. 

"CCTV has now been installed in the area and we’ll be reviewing footage to identify anyone involved.

"We’re also urging anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the area to please report it straight away.
