Two people have been identified after CCTV images were released following a theft from John Lewis in Welwyn Garden City.

On Monday, April 3, around 1.30pm, perfume and aftershave were stolen from the store.

Officers had released CCTV images of two people who might be able to help their enquiries.

PC Cameron Abraham, who is investigating, said: “We believe these two people were in the store at around the time of the theft and so they could have important information.

“Shoplifting will not be tolerated, and we are currently carrying out a lot of work in Welwyn Garden City town centre to tackle the issue, including a combination of plain-clothed and uniformed patrols.”
