An arrest has been made in connection with vehicle interferences in Welwyn Garden City in which car windows were smashed. 

Between 1am and 2am on Tuesday, April 18, two cars parked outside a property in Green Vale had their windows smashed. Nothing was taken.

At around the same time, a vehicle parked on Wheatley Road also had its driver’s side window smashed.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle in connection with the incidents.

He has since been released on police bail whilst enquiries continue.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses, CCTV and doorbell footage.

Detective Constable Andy Shepherd said: "I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that could assist us with our enquiries to please come forward.

"If you have a doorbell camera fitted or any CCTV, I encourage you to please review your footage as you may have captured something that could help us with our investigation.
