Dancers from a Welwyn Garden City academy spent a "spectacular" day performing at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for over 55,000 people.

Lisa Connell's Dance Academy (LCDA) in Hall Grove had 21 students spend months rehearsing and joined forces with Saracens Foundation to perform a pre-game and half-time show at the Saracens verses Harlequins Showdown 3.

A spokesperson for the dance academy said: "It was a spectacular day for all involved starting with a coach trip to the venue, rehearsals and then the performances as well as watching the rugby game."

Dancers were aged between eight and 15 years.

Lisa Connell added: "It was great to see everyone having lots of fun and watching them grow in confidence as they performed."

"We were the only dance academy who took part to have male dancers which was great to show diversity."
