Welwyn Garden City is set to host the Hertfordshire Beekeepers Spring Show, which will showcase trade stalls selling beekeeping supplies.

The beekeeper show will feature a honey competition, with teas and coffees on sale and a space to eat if you want to bring along your own lunch.

Hertfordshire Beekeepers’ Association (HBKA) will be hosting this event and will bring on guest speaker, Marin Anastasov, who is a Master Beekeeper.

The show will be taking place at Christchurch Peartree Hall, 20 Tewin Road, Welwyn Garden City, on Saturday, March 25, from 10.30am to 3pm.

HBKA was founded in 1878 by the Reverend Peel and Thomas B.

By its third year HBKA numbered several hundred members and was regarded as a model for others throughout the country.

Today the association helps Hertfordshire beekeepers to maintain this tradition.
