A support group for parents and carers of children with neurodiversity is set to offer free help at a meeting this January.

Welwyn Support Group is an event held by SEN (Special Educational Needs) parents from Hertfordshire-based charity SPACE.

The charity understands the highs and lows of raising children with neuro-developmental differences.

The event will be held on Thursday, January 26, at the Welwyn Garden City Bowls Club from 10am to 12pm.

SPACE offers numerous monthly support groups in various locations around the county, creating a friendly and informal way of meeting other parents/carers in a relaxed, safe environment.

Children and young people do not need a diagnosis in order for you to access the groups.

Knowledgeable, friendly and supportive SPACE staff, Karen Spencer and Karen Rowley will also be at the event to share their own personal experiences and support.
