A Welwyn Garden City charity foundation touched the hearts of members of the Garden City Day Centre for a Christmas project this year.

AGMS Foundation members met with assistant manager Russell Williams on Friday, December 9, along with his staff to donate presents to all the service users who attend the Garden City Day Centre.

Garden City Day Centre is a service for adults with physical or learning disabilities, and for older people.

Russell said: “It was lovely, as always, to see you all and I know the users here love seeing you all and celebrating with you the great work you all do.

"Also, thank you so much for all the presents you gave everyone; it is much appreciated”. Welwyn Hatfield Times: Garden City day service members gifted presents from Santa this Christmas.Garden City day service members gifted presents from Santa this Christmas. (Image: AGMS Foundation)

AGMS Foundation had the pleasure of Santa Claus and his Elves taking time out of their very busy schedule to deliver presents personally.

The foundation members felt that the Christmas period can be challenging for those who have become estranged from their families.

Another staff member added: “This was the only gift that she would receive this year”.
