Snow has forced waste collections in Welwyn Hatfield to be cancelled, with these set to be rescheduled.
The news was confirmed in a statement from Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, with a spokesman saying: “Due to the snow there will be no waste collections today.
“Although some of the main roads are OK, many side roads are very treacherous for large vehicles and the safety of staff and other road users has to be taken into account.
“We will provide an update later today regarding the catch-up schedule. In the meantime, please leave your bins out for collection.”
