Dramatic CCTV footage has been released by officers investigating two armed robberies in Hatfield.
Police are now linking two heists in the town.
They believe a robbery, at Martin’s newsagent, in High View, where a 13-year-old boy was threatened with a gun, thought to be an imitation firearm, on October 3 and another at the Mercure Hotel, in Roehyde Way, on October 21, may have been committed by the same raider.
In the second hold-up the crook was said to have donned a red onesie and “pistol-whipped” a hotel worker.
